Stress Management Business Articles

The articles here will interest you if you run a stress management business or are interested in getting into that kind of business (or related business). So if you're a Psychologist, Psychotherapist or Counsellor, Occupational Health Practitioner, Coach, Consultant or Trainer, you will find these articles highly relevant. I have been in the stress management business for nearly 20 years and hope you will benefit from my knowledge and experience (including all my mistakes!).

The articles below have been published in ISMA News (the journal of the International Stress Management Association) under the heading: "Developing a Profitable and Sustainable Stress Management Business" The most recent article is first. I've given a brief synopsis of each article, which I've adapted slightly since first publication. All the articles can be freely downloaded and range between about two and four thousand words.

If you'd like to explore training, coaching or mentoring to help you grow your business, please check out my business support page.

In the article I discuss the multiple ways you can publish valuable content, why this works for marketing and how you can develop your published content in saleable products and services.

What most people want in business is to get big corporate clients and win large contracts. But how do you do that and how do you avoid wasting your time and money on tendering for contracts you're never going to win? In the next article, I discuss a business development process I have used repeatedly to win large contracts.

When you first start out in business, it's easy to think you need a lot of stuff, like an office, the latest gadgets, even a nice car. When you've been in business a while, it gradually dawns on you that you don't need this all this stuff and in fact you've wasted a massive amount of money! Don't make the same, eye-watering mistakes I did. The next article tells you about 10 things you don't need to be successful in business and some of them might surprise you.
